REVOLUTION D.F. X rounds off the REVOLUTIONs series and is primarily aimed at gamers and content creators. In addition to a native 12VHPWR cable for the obligatory Intel ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 standard it offers another dual 8pin to 12VHPWR cable. This cable can support an additional graphic card or for future OC graphic cards, which require two 12VHPWR connectors. The connectors have the “4-spring design”, which is recommended by Intel®.
Like the REVOLUTION D.F. 2 the REVOLUTION D.F. X is also a compact, fully modular power dwarf with an overall depth of only 14 cm. The 80 PLUS® Gold certified power supply is included with our patented DFR™ (Dust Free Rotation) technology. This prevents dust accumulation on the fan blades and guarantees a clean and durable power supply.
The decision to only use 100% Japanese 105°C first grade electrolytic capacitors guarantees high manufacturing quality and a long-lasting product. Based on an advanced Half Bridge LLC resonant converter and DC-to-DC circuit, the power supply is able to deliver perfect voltage regulation and very stable output power. The extremely stable single +12V rail, which can support up to twice of the maximum power output, allows high current peaks for high-performance processors and graphics cards without needing the system to be switched off immediatly. Sufficient protection is nevertheless guaranteed by OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, SCP and OTP.
The intelligent semi-fanless control keeps the power supply fan in passive mode up to 20% loading. The industrial-grade dual-ball bearing silent fan is equipped with high-pressure fan blades to generate extremely high air pressure while ensuring excellent silent operation. In addition, anti-vibration dampers on the fan frame reduce the fan vibration.
The ARGB side panel with 14 built-in RGB lighting modes can be operated “stand-alone”, controlled by motherboard sync or switched off with the ON/OFF button.

The DC-to-DC design generates the secondary voltages (+5V and +3.3V) from the primary voltage rail (+12V). The positive effect is higher efficiency, clean output voltages (extremely low ripple noise) and optimal voltage regulation for all loads.
The highly efficient LLC resonant converter ensures higher output efficiency and voltage stability. The extremely stable single +12V rail, which supports up to twice of the maximum output power for a short time (100 microseconds), allows high current peaks for the high-performance processors and graphics cards without needing the system to be switched off directly. Sufficient protection is provided by OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, SCP and OTP.
In addition to a native 12VHPWR cable, REVOLUTION D.F. X provides another dual 8pin to 12VHPWR add-on cable to connect another graphic card or for future OC graphic cards that require two 12VHPWR connectors. The connectors already have the recommended “4-spring design” by Intel®.
With ENERMAX’s patented Dust-free Rotation technology, which is an innovative self-cleaning solution that enable the fan to blow away dust upon powering on, it ensures the REVOLUTION D.F. X remains cleanness, prevent any future disruption and ensure a stable power delivery for years.
With the high pressure blade design, the fan blades centralize dispersed air flow to the center of the fan and create extremely high air pressure and high airflow while maintaining outstanding quietness.
The semi-fanless technology allows the fan to be completely off until the load exceeds 20% to create 0 dB(A) environment and ensure a quiet operation during minimum load. The silent PSU fan is equipped with industrial-grade dual-ball bearing renowned for their durability and longevity.
The ENERMAX Air Guard will benefit the cooling performance while decreasing the fan noise with the wider space of air outlet.
The RGB control button next to the power switch allows you to turn it off at night with one push. You can also switch directly between the built-in 14 lighting modes via the RGB control button.
To stand out from all the ATX 3.0 power supplies, the REVOLUTION D.F. X comes with a ARGB side panel with built-in 14 lighting modes. It supports synchronization with supported motherboard’s software.
As the efficiency becomes more and more crucial for the environment, the REVOLUTION D.F. X is 80 PLUS® Gold certified with efficiency over 90% on standard loading, which reduce unnecessary power consumption during operation and effectively save energy.
