Warranty claims will only be considered if the Coolergiant Computers Handels GmBH (Enermax Europe), hereinafter referred to as Coolergiant, is provided with a copy of the original invoice or purchase receipt together with a description of the defect. The proof of purchase must state the date of purchase, model name, full company details of the dealer including tax number or VAT ID. The information must be complete and legible.
1.1. Manufacturer`s warranty coverage
Generally Enermax products are guaranteed to operate as specified by their datasheet and in the operating environment for which they were designed to. Enermax guarantees its end users that purchased products, which are covered by the respective warranty, to be free from material and manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not affect the statutory warranty claims, but justifies additional, separate claims against Coolergiant (so called manufacturer`s warranty). The Enermax manufacturer warranty does not cover possible transportation costs to the responsible service partner or the Enermax customer support facilities.
1.2. Warranty service
Service will be done in the form, that parts which have defects in material and workmanship, in spite of adequate treatment and attention to the instructions for use, on our option will be repaired or exchanged. Replaced devices are transferred to our property. All RMA returns will be tested by Coolergiant upon return. If the product is found to be non-defective, it may be returned to the end user without service or replaced with an equivalent used or repaired product. Alternatively, Coolergiant reserves the right to exchange the defective device or component for a successor product or refund the purchase price less a usage fee. Information on the calculation can be found here.
1.3. Warranty validity
The warranty is valid only for end users with original invoice, who bought the Enermax product from an authorized dealer within the EU (except France). The manufacturer warranty cannot be transferred. Guarantee services for so-called Class B goods or second-hand products are rejected. The warranty has to be claimed at the original dealer or responsible service partner. If the original dealer no longer exists, the contact with Enermax customer service is necessary. The end user bears the costs for the return of the defective products to the dealer or service partner.
The warranty period starts from the date of purchase shown on the original invoice (initial purchase by consumers at authorized Enermax dealer). Neither warranty service does cause an extension of the original warranty period, nor does it start a new guarantee. The warranty period for installed spare parts ends with the warranty period for the device.
2.1. Power supplies
The statutory warranty period for manufacturers and dealers in Europe can vary. Enermax provides additional manufacturer warranty for power supplies only. Overall customers get a full warranty period of 3 years for power supplies. Exceptional cases: Enermax issues 5 years manufacturer warranty for selected premium PSU series and 10 years manufacturer’s warranty for MaxTytan & REVOLUTION D.F. X PSU series.
2.2. Cases, CPU coolers, case fans, peripherals and enclosures
The statutory warranty period for manufacturers and dealers in Europe (except France) can vary. Enermax provides no additional manufacturer warranty for cases, CPU coolers, case fans, peripherals and enclosures. Overall customers get a full warranty term of the specific local statutory warranty from their dealer.
3.1. If the statutory warranty period is NOT over:
1) Check the purchase date on your invoice (no RMA request can be made without a valid invoice).
2) Please ask your dealer to organize the RMA service.
3) Only if the dealer is no longer available, e.g. due to bankruptcy or other reasons or if the statutory warranty is over, please contact the ENERMAX Europe – Germany Technical Support Team.
3.2. If the statutory warranty period is already over:
1) Please contact the ENERMAX Europe – Germany Technical Support Team to get further information on the RMA process.
4.1. Original invoice or copy of invoice including purchasing date, model name and complete company data of the dealer including the tax number or VAT ID is indispensable and has to be included when sending in for RMA service. The information provided must be complete and clearly readable. All RMA requests without original invoice or copy of invoice will be rejected.
4.2. Product has to be within the statutory warranty period since purchasing date (cases, peripherals, enclosures) or within 3, 5 or 10 years warranty period (power supplies only).
4.3. Enermax product has to be purchased within the EU (except France) as a new product.
4.4. Warranty period cannot be transferred to another owner.
4.5. Warranty is immediately lost, when the product is opened, modified or deliberately damaged.
4.6. If the device is damaged or destroyed by force majeure or environmental influences (humidity, heat, electric shock, overvoltage, dust, etc.), no warranty can be given.
4.7. Warranty cannot be claimed for PSUs that have been used outside of the technical specification (for example: mining).
4.8. Warranty cannot be claimed if the PSU was used in improper operation, including any use that is not in accordance with any supplied product instructions.
4.9. Warranty cannot be claimed for wear and tear associated with normal use.
4.10. No warranty can be claimed for damage to the device or the connected hardware if cables other than the original cables, which are supplied together with the power supply, were used.
4.11. Spare cables (purchased from Enermax) or cables recommended by ENERMAX support are excluded from this regulation.
